Flounder,Red Drum & Speckle trout are biting in the backwaters of the Cape Fear River,live menhaden on carolina rigs are the best bait going right now.Inshore fishing is still a little slow this season,but that’s just fishing,we fished hard this morning managed to catch a large speckle trout,which we had to release,season is closed on speckle trout till June 15Th.
