Captain Jot Owens Fishing Report

Inshore: Fall is HERE and so is Fall Fishing!!!! Some of the best fishing for the Year! Red Drum are eating all the mullets running south for the winter. We have been finding big schools of Reds, feeding like crazy!! The Speckled trout are showing up, the fishing will get better as the water temps cool down. We are still getting a few flounder. The bigger Bluefish are showing up in good numbers, a lot of fun on top water plugs.

Nearshore: Big RED DRUM is the name of the game in OCTOBER! The BIG Reds are around the inlets and in the surf, these fish put up a big fight!! The Gray trout are biting goods just off the beach, with some nice Flounder mixed in as well. The Spanish mackerel and Blues are running up and down the beaches.

Fall fishing is HERE, Lets go fishing!
