Well the winter redfish bite is still going strong. Lots of nice fish and they are hungry, getting ready for a cold winter. We are catching them all on lures. Mostly jigs with gulp alive, stikeking minnows, D.O.A minnows, and when they are stubborn shrimp or mudminnows. Lots of fun on the small spinning gear. The whiting are still around in good numbers. We are catching them on bottom rigs with cut shrimp or mullet in the river. The trout are biting as well on D.O.A shrimp, Mirro-lures, and tsunami swim baits. Lots of small trout with a few nice ones in the mix. I beleive the trout bite will get better and the bigger fish are on there way down the coast.
