Inshore in Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington and Baldhead Island we have been catching lots of redfish, a few flounders, some trout, blues, and a few nice sharks on our fishing charters. For the redfish we have been casting topwaters, spinnerbaits, gulp alive, and live baits if necessary. We have been catching the flounder on gulp alive and live minnows. The trout on D.O.A shrimp, gulp, and live shrimp, can’t wait until June 15th when we can keep a trout. The blues have been on lures and minnows. Lots of fun in the sun. On our coastal trips off Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington and Bald Head we have been catching lots of spanish mackerel, blues, sharks, a few flounder, and a few kings on our fishing charters. We have been trolling spoons or sightcasting to the spanish and blues. We have been bottom fishing with live bait for the flounder and sharks. We have also trolled with live bait for kings as well.
