CarolinaExplorer 8-29 Wrightsville Beach Fishing Report:) We are catching lots of red drum, flounder, spanish mackerel, bluefish, grey trout, sheepshead, and sharks. Now is the time to book your fishing charter, Call Today 910-264-1807!!

Sorry for the delay in reports. We have been super busy catching fish and having too much fun fishing, I just could not make myself sit in front of a computer over the past month. Inshore we have been catching lots of red drum, flounder, sheepshead, and a few trout. The reds and flounder have been hiting mullet minnows on carolina rigs or floats. We have also been catching them on jigs rigged with gulp baits as well. There has also been a topwater bite early in the morning for the reds and trout as well. The trout have been hiting D.O.A shrimp and paddle tails also. The sheepshead have been biting crabs and shrimp. Lots of fun on light tackle, now is the time to plan you fall or winter fishing charters. Give me a call at 910-264-1807 and book your fishing charter today.

Off the beach on our coastal fishing charters, we have been catching lots of flounder, grey trout, sharks, small sea bass, oyster toad fish, and various other fish. Most of this action has taken place on live mullet on carolina rigs. If you want to use lures, a buktail tipped with gulp or a metal spoon jig will catch their attention as well. The spanish mackerel and blue have been biting clarkspoons trolling, or if the fish are on top casting metal spoons will catch them.  Just fun fishing for everyone. Check out the pics of what you might catch on your charter, Give me a call 910-264-1807 and book your trip today.
