Finally, got a 1 day weather window and had to take advantage so we headed off shore with the guys. Rob, Chris, Carlton and Dave. Stopped at 140 feet and it didn’t take long the AJs were hungry and very mean in the cooler water. The action was none stop and as many multiple hook ups as you wanted just drop. We had some nice fish I boated a 54 inch fatty but Chris took the large fish pool with a 58 inch length x 36 inch girth. She was very heavy. After everyone had enough pain we moved off shore looking for some Black fin. No tuna but we had a Wahoo bite and threw the hook close to the boat. After more Almacos and AJs moved back in shore and finally found a couple nice Cobia 48 lbs and 40 lbs. Also released 6 nice grouper during the day. A great day on the water in NC released a minimum of 85 AJs and everyone complained about very sore arms including the captain.
