I had Anthony from Hanta Rods and Lures come down with family (5 teenagers) for a day of deep jigging. The weather was perfect with flat seas all days. Started up to the north trying to avoid the sharks. We had great action with lots small AJs, Almacos, Bonita, Rudder fish and some nice Blackfin. The sharks eventually found us by the young anglers enjoyed catching them also. At the end of the day while fighting a shark Anthony saw a large splash a couple hundred yards from the boat. Then we watched a school of large Bluefin crash baits on top. We ran over to the area but they disappeared before we got there. David also caught his 1st African the day before.
