I had Ryan, Alex, Heather and Melisa come down from Fayetteville, NC for a live bait trip. Headed out 25 miles with a few live baits to feed the AJs. It didn’t take long before they came to the boat looking for the baits. We had great action and everyone caught their share of AJs. The ladies did a great job landing fish after fish. We then switched over to top water poppers and had a blast. The strikes were amazing and a lot of fun to watch. We lasted until around lunch before everyone was worn out and went to some ledges looking for other species. We had a lot of short seas bass, grunts and triggers and then at the end of the day we had a couple Cobia come by the boat and landed a 20 lber but the big one would not eat after a few shots she left the boat.
