FALL FISHING IS IN FULL SWING

Hi Folks,
It’s been a while but fishing and rod building is “busy work”. Fortunately, the water temps and air temps have cooled and it now actually feels like fall fishing. But best of all just about everything is biting! Now here’s my report:
INSHORE: Prime time! Reds, flounder and trout are biting really well. Falling tides continue to work best whether using artificials or cut bait.
NEAR SHORE: Plenty of kings are biting just about anything; spoons, dead bait, and live bait. False albacore are in the mix as well. Flounder are biting on the nearshore AR’S.
OFFSHORE: More kings and albacore.
GULF STREAM: Wahoo are plentiful with some blackfin mixed in the bite.
CAPE FEAR RIVER: Trout and reds are biting very well and the Virginia mullet are crushing fresh shrimp as well.
UPCOMING: Without any severe cold, expect the fall season to continue right into the next month and maybe longer.
Until Next Time…LET’S GO FISHING!!!
