We just got back from the kids tournament up in morehead for the weekend. The bill fish bite slowed down a little not sure if it had anything to do with the storm but only 25 realeases for the weekend out of 110 boats. We ended up with a dolphin that placed in the top ten and got a big trophy for our junior angler.

On the home front fishing seems to be pretty darn good. Brent has had some great bottom fishing trips which inlcuded some big grouper and snapper. He has also been catching plenty of mackeral and a few sailfish on the way. Inshore the spanish and blue fish bite has also been good.

Summer Action

Fishing has been red hot off the Abiagil this summer. The kingmackeral, spanish and grouper have been bitting like bull dog’s. If you want to hook into some big AJ’s or sharks it doesn’t get any better. The gulf stream has pushed in so we don’t have to run so far to catch sail fish and Dolphin. We can of course get there in a flash with my boat that goes 50 mph!! The big Tarpon should also be showing up any day off Bald Head so let’s GO!!
We can also take you joy ridding and site seeing! Give us a call!!
